Nothing on Brexit from my side, you know that, I will only speak about it only if and when the UK will become a third country. On the day it will happen, we will obviously be ready to open a European Union Delegation office in London.
But the point I contributed to prepare for today's discussion with the Leaders is the discussion on China. We have had the State Councilor of China/Foreign Minister [Wang Yi] last Monday with the Foreign Ministers of the 28 Member States to prepare this discussion we will have this evening.
We have a very complex and balanced position from the European Union side on our relations with China, which is a partner on many issues, especially on foreign policy. But China is also a competitor in certain fields and there is also a strong need from European Union Member States to defend their interests, in particular when it comes to security or key infrastructure.
We will bring a position to the table that has already been prepared with the Foreign Ministers and that, I hope, will get the support of all Heads of State or Government, having this pragmatic but also principled approach with China - a mix of protection of our interests, but also a search for common ground for partnership, whenever it is possible with China.
