EU and Oman sign a Cooperation Arrangement

They agreed to reinforce bilateral relations and in this context, they signed a Cooperation Arrangement between the European External Action Service and the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will provide a basis for an enhanced political dialogue and strengthened cooperation on sectoral areas of mutual interest.

The High Representative/Vice-President and the Minister also discussed regional issues of common interest, including the crisis in the Gulf, Iran, Iraq and the Middle East Peace Process. They also exchanged views on the ongoing war in Yemen and on the need to renew the international community's support to the UN-led process.
