The "20 Deliverables for 2020" pursue achieving tangible results for citizens across the Eastern Partnership countries. In line with the Joint Declaration of the 2017 Eastern Partnership Summit, civil society participation is meant to advance economic and social development towards reinforced societal resilience. The EaP deliverables recognise the direct link between the quality of sector reform dialogue and increased technical expertise, advocacy skills and stronger leadership of civil society organisations (CSOs) in partner countries.
The EaP Rapid Response Mechanism makes available support to CSOs that can demonstrate leadership, innovation and capacity for social action combined with solid expertise or track record to contribute in a timely fashion to emerging challenges in their country and region. This is part of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility.
