End date of implementation phase: 31/5/2019

Partners: Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Service (CEOSS)

Beneficiaries:

Most vulnerable populations of all the five targeted governorates

 

Description:

  • Through capacity building and empowerment activities, the project will be improving quality of life for poor women dependant on informal sector in 30 Egyptian rural and urban communities' five governorates in Egypt: Cairo, Giza, Qalyoubia, Minia and Beni Suef governorates

 

Objectives:

  • The EU-funded project aims at reducing poverty and marginalization of women in Egypt. Through capacity building and empowerment activities, the project will be improving quality of life for poor women dependant on informal sector in 30 Egyptian rural and urban communities. It aims also, at enhancing capacity of civil society to further contribute to reducing poverty and marginalization of poor urban and rural women.
