A unique moment is approaching for the European Union. In 2019, the UK is formally leaving the EU - a transition with implications for the EU's security, defence and foreign policy.
While the terms of the future partnership are still to be defined, the EU Institute for Security Studies is organising on 14 May 2018, (17.00-18.00), a high-level panel discussion on ‘The future of EU foreign, security and defence policy post-Brexit’ with Ms Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, and Mr Michel Barnier, the EU Chief Negotiator on Art. 50 TEU Negotiations with the United Kingdom.’
