On 19 March potential applicants were gathered in Gyumri to familiarise with the application procedures on the new call for proposals for “Vocational education and training – business partnerships on work-based learning and apprenticeships”. The call announced by the European Union Delegation to Armenia is aimed to encourage VET-business partnerships to develop work-based learning.

Today I was told that this is a problem that Gyumri also shares. Therefore, our new VET project is tailored more tightly to the Armenian context and geared more clearly towards matching education and labour needs. We want to help Armenia to develop a good model for tuning supply with demand’.
