The main goal of the event is to provide trainings on further use of the training curriculum on documents security and to exchange best practices. The participants will learn about EU best practices in the field of in-depth study of travelers’ documents, curriculum for advanced level and instructional and methodological materials related to document security. The Agenda of the training includes a variety of interactive lectures, group and individual practical exercises with samples of genuine and forged documents for a more detailed perception of a study topic and strengthening practical skills in document research that is used at border crossing.
The Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA) launched its activities in 2003 to strengthen partnership between the Central Asian governments in the area of border management. The EU allocated more than EUR 40 mln to BOMCA for 2003-2018, while almost EUR 5 mln were assigned for implementation of the 9th phase of the programme for 2015-2018.
