The EU member states Ambassadors based in Brussels (EU Political and Security Committee) visited Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia from 3 to 6 October 2017.
The objective of the visit was to show support for these strategically located Eastern Partners, underline EU cooperation and recall concerns on human rights matters and support for reforms.
During the busy programme in all three countries, the EU Ambassadors held several high-level meetings, including with Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Armenia; Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan and Giorgi Margvelashvili, the President of Georgia.
A broad spectre of issues were covered, including bilateral cooperation, multilateral cooperation with the Eastern Partnership as well as regional developments and reform efforts.
