European Climate Diplomacy Week: Organisation of a debate on Climate Change at State House, Mauritius

In the context of the European Climate Diplomacy Week (19 June - 2 July 2017) the President of the Republic of Mauritius organised, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Mauritius, a high-level debate on Climate Change.

A hundred participants gathered at State House to listen to the views of the panellists on the climate challenge. Marjaana Sall presented EU climate action at international, regional and local levels. She underlined that "Today, more than ever, Europe, our Member States and partners from across the world are ready to lead the way. We are joining forces to forge ahead on the implementation of the Paris Agreement and accelerate the global transition to a low-emissions climate resilient future."
