MEXICO - List of EEAS calls for tenders for the current year
During the VII High Level Dialogue on Human Rights, Mexico and the European Union exchanged views to strengthen cooperation.
From October 11-13, the workshop on Gender Violence and Equal Access to Justice takes place in Mexico. The European Union works in the field of violence against women and girls both externally and internally. The objective is to exchange experiences by presenting public policies for equitable access to justice in Europe.
Officials and representatives of the European Union and Mexico are working within the framework of the VII High Level Dialogue on Human Rights.
Authorities from both sides exchanged views on the issue of Human Rights with 27 representatives of European and Mexican Civil Society organizations.
The European Union and ECLAC have signed a cooperation agreement from which the project "Better policies for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Latin America" (EUROMIPYME) was launched.
During her visit to Mexico, on 25 May 2016, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC, attended the second High Level Dialogue Mexico/EU on Security and Justice, covering a broad spectrum of issues including the combat of organised crime, rule of law and human rights. In her opening remarks, she talked about the new security threats that have emerged in Europe and the challenges posed by the migration flows and the refugee crisis.
