Statement by the Spokesperson on the attack on Baqir Al-Uloom mosque in Kabul

After today's attack on the Baquir Al-Uloom mosque in Kabul, which has claimed the lives of at least 27 Afghan civilians and injured many more, we offer our condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wish a swift recovery to those who were injured. The European Union stands by the Afghan authorities and people in the fight against terrorism, and remains committed to helping the Afghan people to achieve a peaceful and prosperous future.
