Statement by the Spokesperson on the attack in Hub, Pakistan

Pakistan has once again been the victim of a terrorist attack. More than 40 innocent people, including children, have been killed and many more injured, while visiting the Shah Noorani shrine in the province of Balochistan.

The sadness we share with the Pakistani people reinforces our determination to continue and strengthen our cooperation with Pakistan in fighting all forms of terrorism.

We express our condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
