AUSTRALIA - List of EEAS calls for tenders for the current year
The EUVP is jointly sponsored and administered by the European Parliament and the European Commission and has been in operation since 1974. Australia has participated in the programme since 1983 sending over 138 visitors to Europe during that time.
The EU-Australia Leadership Forum is a unique project funded by the European Union, running from 2016 until 2019. Its overall objective is to broaden and deepen the existing ties between the EU and Australia and in so doing, to help shape the vision for the partnership, based on the EU-Australia Framework Agreement and forthcoming EU-Australia Free Trade Agreement.
Australian European University Institute Fellowships Association Inc announces that Applications are now invited for Australian European University Institute Fellowships to undertake research at the European University Institute – the research institute established by the European Communities in 1972. Fellowships include a six-month Postdoctoral Fellowship (January-June 2018); a three-month Postgraduate Fellowship (September-December 2018); and one fellowship for a Visiting Scholar from an Australian university for one month during January-June 2018.
European cinema will play a starring role at this year's Flickerfest International Short Film Festival on Bondi Beach and around Australia January through May.
The European Union is a key supporter of the 'Windows on Europe' event which, for the second year in a row, will be screened as part of Flickerfest. The EU has also provided a $1000 award for the best European short film screened at this year's Flickerfest.
The European Union Delegation to Australia sponsored the "Racism. It Stops With Me Award" at the Australian Human Rights Commission's Human Rights Awards held in Sydney on 9 December.
