On May 22 at 19:30 at Artnovi Space, a concert of contemporary music by female composers from Russia, Germany and Canada will take place as part of the project "EUTERPE-21: Muses Today". The concert will conclude the conference about the development of projects about contemporary academic music and the need to support women in music industry.
The REHEARD ensemble will present works by female composers for the first time in Russia: Annette Schlunz from Germany and Becky Simms and Kelly-Marie Murphy from Canada. Especially for this project, composer Lydia-Maria Koshevaya has written a music piece to the poetry of the German poet Maria-Louise Weissmann "The Girl Says...".

The concert will take place in offline and online formats. A link to live streaming will be posted on the day of the event.
The event takes place in the framework of the "Year of Germany in Russia 2021/2022" initiative and is supported by the EU Delegation to Russia, the Canadian Embassy in Russia and the Russian Composers Union.
