Agriculture and Food Safety

The Pro-Resilience Action (PRO-ACT 2015) will revitalize and build resilience of food systems in rural areas which have been hard hit by the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) crisis and ensuing failure of markets for crop produce and inputs.

As such, the overall objective of the Action is to improve the food and nutrition security status of vulnerable population groups. More tangibly, the specific objective (outcome) of the Action is to enhance the capacities of vulnerable groups to improve their food crises resilience and sustainably produce and access food.
