EUTM MOZ conducts training session in Logistics Operations to the FADM

The objective of the training was to deliver the FADM all the logistic concepts for the reception, storage, delivery and maintenance of the non-lethal equipment that the EPF is providing to the units trained by EUTM MOZ.
The training focused on the Concepts of Logistics as well as standards and procedures for material labeling, acquisition, reception, increase in load, storage, conservation, supply, distribution, transfer, return, packaging, transport, inventory, inspection, sending the material for repair, etc. In the Logistical Process, special emphasis was placed on material monitoring and control, stock management and maintenance management.

The ASMOZ project aims to provide non-lethal equipment to equip the Quick Reaction Forces (QRFs), such as ground and amphibious mobility assets, technical devices and a field hospital. The equipment serves to reinforce the protection, resilience and operational capabilities of the QRFs.
The EUTM MOZ mission is to provide training and support to the FADM to protect the civilian population and restore security in the Cabo Delgado province. The mission has a non-executive mandate and will end two years after the mission has reached Full Operational Capability. The EUTM MOZ is one of the tools to address the crisis in Cabo Delgado, in conjunction with support for peacebuilding, conflict prevention and dialogue support, humanitarian assistance and development cooperation.
