Visit by the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy in Athens

A delegation from the Hellenic Diplomatic Academy in Athens visited the EUNAVFOR ASPIDES Operations Headquarters in Larissa.
 

The delegation was welcomed by Rear Admiral Pierre-Yves Grente, Deputy Commander of EUNAVFOR ASPIDES, who highlighted the operation's role as an EU Common Security and Defence Policy operation contributing to freedom of navigation and enhancing maritime security in the Red Sea.

During the visit, Captain Vasileios Tsiouflias, Chief of Staff of EUNAVFOR ASPIDES, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the operation's mission, organizational structure, and ongoing activities, emphasizing its strategic importance and contribution to the safety and security of international maritime traffic.
