FADM completes Leadership Programme with support from EUMAM MOZ
This specialised programme was designed to equip trainers at the FADM Sergeants School — including sergeants and officers — with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to teach the leadership module in basic training courses. Over five intensive days, the 25 participants developed fundamental leadership skills, with a focus on planning, organising and conducting team tasks.

The training included a robust theoretical component, where the fundamentals of the leadership model adapted to the context of the FADM were discussed, as well as a practical component that allowed trainees to apply the knowledge acquired in simulated leadership exercise scenarios.

This programme is particularly important as it is directly aligned with the FADM Operational Cycle, supporting the regeneration, preparation and projection processes of the Rapid Reaction Forces (QRF) deployed in the province of Cabo Delgado.

The closing ceremony was attended by several military officials, including Lieutenant Colonel Banze, Deputy Director of Education at the FADM Sergeants School, and Captain Pais Neto, Head of the EUMAM MOZ Advisory Group. Both praised the importance of this type of programme, as strengthening leadership skills is essential to ensuring an effective chain of command capable of responding to operational challenges in a real-life context.
