EUMAM MOZ supports the launch of the Regeneration Cycle of the 1st QRF of Mozambican Army Commandos
The ceremony was led by the EUMAM MOZ Mission Force Commander, Commodore César Pires Correia, and attended by several military authorities, including the Head of the Military Intelligence Directorate of the Mozambican Army, Colonel Fernando Manuel Raibo.
This milestone represents a new phase in strengthening the operational capabilities of the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM), within an increasingly demanding and evolving security environment. The regeneration process aims to consolidate skills, enhance readiness, and ensure the sustainability of the operational cycle of the FADM’s QRF.
In his address, the EUMAM MOZ Mission Force Commander highlighted the full dedication of the trainers and their commitment to sharing tactical and technical knowledge at the highest level. He emphasised that this regeneration process takes on a strategic dimension, as it involves better preparation, more rigorous training and ensuring that the 1st QRF is fully capable of responding to security challenges in Cabo Delgado Province.
