EUMAM MOZ starts Management Maintenance Programme
Leading the ceremony was the Commander of the Equipment and Maintenance Division, Colonel Henrique João Sopa, joined by the Chief of the Advisory Group, Italian Navy Captain Marco Maccaroni from the European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ).
This six-week programme, developed in close collaboration between EUMAM MOZ and the Logistics Department of the FADM, is designed to enhance the effectiveness of maintenance management within the military. Its primary objective is to ensure the long-term sustainability and proper upkeep of the equipment and assets provided by the European Union to the FADM. In doing so, the programme seeks to guarantee the highest possible levels of equipment availability and operational readiness.

They stressed its essential contribution to improving the overall efficiency of the Armed Forces and supporting the durability and effectiveness of their logistical and operational systems over time.
