From teamwork to trust: EUMAM MOZ strengthens bonds at Missão Santa Isabel

Taninga, Mozambique - The European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) carried out a Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activity at Missão Santa Isabel yesterday morning, creating an unforgettable day of fun, teamwork and learning for more than 260 students aged 12 to 14.

Through military-style physical education, games and challenges (from the “snake game” to “carry the water” and “tug of war”) the activity fostered cooperation, discipline and team spirit among the young participants.

During the visit, EUMAM MOZ also donated sports equipment, puzzles, notebooks and school materials, thanks to the generous support of the Spanish Ministry of Defence. These gifts will support both learning and play for the students of this institution.

With this initiative, EUMAM MOZ reaffirmed its commitment to building bridges with the local community, strengthening trust, visibility, solidarity and peace among generations in the region.

A special thank you to the teachers and staff of Missão Santa Isabel, who every day guide and inspire more than 500 students, from kindergarten to secondary school.
