EU Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique marks Europe Day
The Commander of EUMAM MOZ, Brigadier General Luís Barroso, who presided over the ceremony, emphasized in his speech that “we are here today, deployed in Mozambique, under the European Union’s motto: ‘United in Diversity.’
In recent years, we have worked to support the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (...),” adding that “The coming months are decisive for the mission. It is time to support the implementation of the command and control structures that we consider essential for the operational cycle of the Quick Reaction Force (QRF) to be carried out according to the requirements of each of its phases. Additionally, it is also the time to prepare, together with the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (FADM), the staff of the Military Planning and Conduct Capability (MPCC), and the Delegation of the European Union to Mozambique (EUDEL), the implementation of the upcoming projects.”
