EUMA Reaffirms Its Continued Presence and Commitment Along the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border

Starting from mid-March and early April EUMA has increased it's patrols in border areas and the number of night-shift patrols to reduce the possible tensions on borders and increase safety of people living in these areas.

EUMA’s presence continues to be round-the-clock, with monitors operating both during the day and night to ensure ongoing situational awareness and to foster a sense of security among the local population.

The European Union Mission in Armenia remains steadfast in its commitment to monitoring the security situation and contributing to the safety and stability of communities residing along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

The mission reaffirms its dedication to these objectives and will continue its work with consistency and objectivity.
