EUCAP supports Somaliland Maritime Security and Development Coordination Meeting

With the support of our Field Office in Somaliland, the Maritime Security Coordination Office (MSCO) organized the Somaliland Maritime Security and Development Coordination Meeting in Hargeisa.

The meeting brought together senior officials from key government ministers, security agencies, and international partners, including the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to strengthen coordinating in maritime governance, information sharing and inter-agency collaboration.

The participants reiterated the importance of maritime security, for stability and economic prosperity.
