Dutch Embassy Delegation visits the International Compound in Mogadishu

The Head of Mission of EUCAP Somalia, together with the Mission Force Commander of the European Union Training Mission in Somalia (EUTM Somalia), welcomed a delegation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as part of their visit to the International Compound in Mogadishu. Our Head of Mission was joined by a few of our Dutch mission members, seconded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dutch Police. 

The Dutch Ambassador to Kenya and Somalia, H.E. Mr. Henk Jan Bakker, was joined by the Dutch Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, Ms. Stijn Janssen, Deputy Ambassador Ms. Laurie Visser, and Policy Officer, Political Affairs and Security, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed. 

The Ambassador and his delegation received a briefing on the Missions’ programmes and activities, and thoughts were exchanged on ongoing developments relevant to the respective mandates.

The Head of Mission and Mission Force Commander thanked the Dutch delegation for their continued interest and support.
