“Visiting Bamako is important because from Brussels, we are too far to truly see the work that EUCAP Sahel Mali is doing,” said Deputy Civilian Operations Commander Kirsi Henriksson during her stay in the Malian capital.

During her visit, Kirsi Henriksson met with partners of the mission, engaged with mission members, and exchanged views with the EU family on the ground regarding the EU’s contribution to peace and security in Mali.
