Strengthening the Security–Justice Nexus in the Central African Republic

EUAM RCA attended the official opening of the 2026–2027 judicial year at the National Assembly in Bangui, represented by its Senior Strategic Adviser for Organisational Consolidation (MISP).

Held in the presence of H.E. President Faustin-Archange Touadéra and senior representatives of the judicial, executive and diplomatic corps, the ceremony marked the opening of the new judicial year and reaffirmed the central role of justice institutions in strengthening the rule of law.

The event also highlighted the importance of effective cooperation between security and justice institutions in combating impunity and corruption, improving access to justice, and addressing emerging challenges such as cybercrime and disinformation.

For EUAM RCA, strengthening the link between security and justice remains essential to supporting institutional resilience, public trust and lasting peace and security in the Central African Republic.
