Strengthening Leadership and Professionalism: EUAM RCA Supports the Selection Process for the Staff College Diploma

As part of its support to Security Sector Reform (SSR), EUAM RCA supported the National Gendarmerie in organizing the initial selection tests for the Staff College Diploma (DEM), held from 2 to 5 February 2026 at the National Gendarmerie School in Kolongo. 

A total of 37 officers (32 men and 5 women) were assessed through written examinations and interviews aimed at identifying future staff officers. This merit-based process helps strengthen professionalism and gender equality, in line with international standards. Following the selection process, 20 officers were selected to join the DEM training programme, organized within the framework of the partnership between the National Gendarmerie, the French Embassy, and EUAM RCA.
