EUAM RCA contributed to the 12th session of the DDRR/SSR Strategic Committee, a key national platform chaired by H.E. the President of the Republic, for coordinating and overseeing disarmament, demobilisation, reintegration and security sector reform processes in the Central African Republic.
The session brought together national authorities and institutional stakeholders to review progress, align priorities, and reinforce coherence across interdependent reform tracks. Strengthened coordination at this level is critical to ensuring continuity, effectiveness, and credibility in implementation.
“Ensuring alignment across DDRR and SSR actors is critical to maintaining coherence and effectiveness in implementation,” said the Head of Mission of EUAM RCA. “EUAM RCA contributes to strengthening these coordination frameworks to support more structured and sustainable security processes.”
Through its advisory role, EUAM RCA contributes to structuring coordination processes, reinforcing institutional dialogue, and supporting the consolidation of sustainable governance mechanisms. This engagement supports nationally led efforts to build effective, accountable and resilient security-related systems.
