The brochure "Beyond Election Day: Best practices for follow-up to EU Election Observation Missions" was launched at the European Development Days on 8 June 2017 in Brussels.

In response to an invitation from the Peruvian authorities, the European Union has deployed an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to Peru to observe the Presidential, Parliamentary and Andean Parliament elections on 10 April.
Peru held the second round of a competitive and well organised Presidential election on Sunday 5thJune and the European Union looks forward to working with the elected President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.
Election day took place in a peaceful and orderly environment. Peruvians were able to cast their votes without any obstacles. The ONPE handled the counting process effectively and the ongoing aggregation of results is proceeding transparently.
This third edition provides updated practical guidelines for EU observers and core team.
All observers of the EU Election Observation Mission are bound by a strict Code of Conduct that ensures their neutrality and impartiality during their work.
The EU Election Observation Mission operates in accordance with the “Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation” adopted in 2005 at the United Nations. Click on the link to read the full document.

El Jurado Nacional de Elecciones (JNE) es el organismo encargado de administrar justicia en materia electoral. La Misión ha mantenido una primera reunión protocolaria con los representantes de la Oficina de Cooperación y de Relaciones Internacionales y con la Dirección Nacional de Fiscalización y
