About the Mission
Following an invitation from the Paraguayan authorities, the European Union (EU) deployed an Election Observation Mission (EOM) to observe the general elections scheduled for 22 April 2018. The mission is led by Chief Observer Renate Weber, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Romania. The EU EOM comprises 90 observers including a delegation of members of the European Parliament.
