Pristina, 12 September 2017- The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to Kosovo presented its Final Report on the 11 June 2017 legislative elections today. The report comprises an assessment of the electoral process and offers 26 recommendations to improve future electoral processes
The brochure "Beyond Election Day: Best practices for follow-up to EU Election Observation Missions" was launched at the European Development Days on 8 June 2017 in Brussels.
In response to an invitation by the President of Kosovo, the European Union has deployed an Election Observation Mission to observe the Kosovo early legislative elections scheduled for 11 June 2017.

The 32 short-term observers arrived in Pristina on Wednesday, 7 June and after two days of briefing they have been deployed to their areas of observation. Locally recruited short-term observers from the EU Member States' diplomatic representations have also been trained on election-day
