In response to an invitation by the President of Kosovo, the European Union has deployed an Election Observation Mission to observe the Kosovo early legislative elections scheduled for 11 June 2017.
Chief Observer Alojz Peterle presented the final report on the 11 June legislative elections at a press conference on Tuesday, 12 September in Pristina.
The 32 short-term observers arrived in Pristina on Wednesday, 7 June and after two days of briefing they have been deployed to their areas of observation. Locally recruited short-term observers from the EU Member States' diplomatic representations have also been trained on election-day
