The Chief Observer Miroslav Poche today formally opened the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) for the 6 April Parliamentary elections. The mission’s deployment follows an invitation from The Gambia Independent Electoral Commission (IEC). This is the first time that the EU deploys
