From 16 to 18 April, the Rapid Deployment Capacity Coordination Conference (RDC3) and the EU Global Force Generation Conference (GFGC) took place at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels. RDC3 is organised in the framework of the Rapid Deployment Capacity (RDC), an important part of the EU's Strategic Compass for rapid response to crises.

Both the RDC3 and the GFGC are held biannually, in spring and autumn, with the participation of EU Member States and contributing Third States. The main theme is force sensing and force generation for EU Operations, Missions and Rapid Response Forces.

The conferences were conducted with great engagement from both speakers and participants, thereby fostering military cohesion and cooperation for a more responsive EU Common Security and Defence Policy.
