Erasmus +
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe, offering opportunities to study, gain experience and volunteer.
Who can take part?
Erasmus+ is open to many individuals and organisations, although eligibility criteria vary according to the type of action and country.
Individuals (students or teaching staff) can participate in many Erasmus+ funded opportunities, although most do so through an organisation participating in the programme. The eligibility criteria for individuals and organisations depend on the country where they are applying.
As a Partner Country, the Dominican Republic can only participate in some Erasmus+ Actions and under certain conditions.
For more information on the eligibility criteria, please consult the specific opportunities pages for individuals and organisations and the Programme Guide.
How is it managed?
The Erasmus+ Programme is managed by the European Commission (the EU's executive body), the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and a number of National Agencies in Programme Countries and some Partner Countries.
