As we mark World Youth Skills Day, we acknowledge that rising youth unemployment on a global scale is one of the most significant problems we face today. Equipping young people with skills is vital to improving livelihoods and well-being.  This video shows how for some young people learning new skills has helped them become financially independent and overcome harmful cultural practices. The EU plays a role in encouraging youth to explore and acquire new skills which can transform lives.
