Increasing exchanges and enhancing mutual understanding – especially with youth – is a key priority of the EU's Eastern Partnership programme.
The European Union will provide €1.5 million for the independent investigation and prosecution of those responsible for war crimes, human rights abuses and violations of international humanitarian law in Syria.
On 7th July 2017, the 4th Eastern Partnership Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial meeting took place in Tallinn under the Estonian Presidency of the EU.
Concrete achievements have underpinned the strong partnership between the European Union and Ukraine, the leaders of both confirmed at the summit in Kyiv on Thursday, agreeing also that reforms in Ukraine will continue with the EU support.
300 young leaders, youth workers and youth policy makers from the EU member states and Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine worked together over two days at the Eastern Partnership Youth Forum in Warsaw from 22-23 June 2017.
