The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesian IoT Association (ASIOTI), launched today the EU Social DigiThon competition themed “Aksi Muda untuk Perubahan” (“Youth Actions for Change”). This competition aims to bring creative and innovative minds from across Indonesia to develop ideas for digital-based solutions to address COVID-19-related challenges.
The EU Social DigiThon competition is looking for project ideas to address one of the following three areas: challenges faced by children and youth; challenges faced by women and girls; or challenges faced by people with disabilities. Participants will have to submit their ideas in the form of a concept note. Ten finalists will be selected to pitch their solutions to a jury panel comprising representatives from the EU Delegation, ASIOTI and the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan). Three winners will receive guidance and support to implement their projects and have their ideas realised.
