The Centre de Formation Agricole in Rodrigues aims at offering young people (12-18) with academic difficulties and who are school drop outs with an opportunity to undertake a vocational training in the field of agriculture and farming.
The Centre is engaged in a sustainable development process based on sustainable consumption and production patterns. Since November 2015, the centre's team has been implementing a new project, with support of the Switch Africa Green inititive, to promote the use of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) practices and support students in the development of green businesses.
Since November 2015, sixty-four students (both girls and boys) have participated in the project.
