Today, Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union will host a conference aimed at developing e-governance and enhancing cybersecurity in the European Union's Eastern partner countries. This will be followed by the second Eastern Partnership Ministerial meeting on the digital economy, on 5 October 2017 and the EU's Ministerial e-Government Conference the day after.
The new edition of the CSDP handbook has arrived in Brussels at the ESDC. 3,760 kg of knowledge about the Common Security and Defence Policy were shipped from the Austrian Armed Forces Printing Centre to the ESDC Secretariat, and on 10 May, the handbooks were unloaded and stored in the headquarters of the College. Five ESDC staff each had to carry on average 715 kg to the second floor of the building, which was a good team-building exercise.
