Overall objective:  

To contribute to inclusive development through increased trade driven employment creation and diversification of economic activities.

Specific objective:

To effectively benefit from further integration into regional and global trading system, through strengthening exports capacities in specific, sectors where Mongolia has comparative advantages.

Expected results

• Enhanced policy dialogue and government capacity and processes for trade policy formulation and negotiation.
• Effective implementation of concrete measures to reduce trade costs, including mainstreaming of trade policy in other sector policies.
• Strengthening of the institutional capacity of the private sector intermediary organisations and other trade-related non-state actors, with a view to effectively support private enterprises as well as engage effectively with relevant government interlocutors
