Overall objective:
Sustainable consumption patterns and behaviours in the individual housing sector of Mongolia are promoted through energy efficiency advisory and financial intermediation
Specific objective:
Emissions of CO2 and PM in Ulaanbaatar’s Ger areas are reduced through improved energy efficiency in housing, awareness raising, technical training and technological support to SMEs and households
Expected results:
1. Appropriate technical solutions and recommendations for energy efficient dwellings are defined and shaped for dissemination to construction professionals and households
2. Construction sector capacity to sell and set-up EE retrofit or building is strengthened
3. Energy efficient solutions and practices are deployed with the support of energy advisors and awareness raising actions
4. Final customers and MSMEs are pro-actively linked, through gender sensitive finance intermediation, to project relevant financing tools (existing, foreseen) and subsidy mechanisms
5. Conditions for scale-up and replication of the project package tool are in place, including gender mainstreaming
