''Redrawing the Margins'': Meaningful engagement of plantation communities in democracy and governance

Promoting the rights and entitlements of citizens living and working in the tea plantations of the Central and Uva Provinces of Sri Lanka.
The Redrawing the Margins Project, implemented by CARE Deustschland, aims to:
foster national level dialogue to effect changes to policy that impacts plantation communities, with a special focus on women’s rights; and
facilitate the provision of services to plantation and neighboring communities by increasing capabilities, responsiveness, and accountability of the local government, with a special focus on language rights and CSO capacity building.
The European Union's contribution to the project is worth EUR 600,000.
