The Delegation of the European Union (EU) to India invites you to join us for an online discussion on the business opportunities related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) arising due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative is part of the EU-India Webinar Series, focusing on current issues of significance to the EU and India in this global crisis following the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a means of combatting the pandemic, the European Union is coordinating on a common European response to the corona virus outbreak, wherein data, super computers and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will play a major role as computational capabilities accelerate the development of vaccines and treatments.

At the same time, in India, the innovation ecosystem - including the start-up community and larger organizations alongside the government - is actively working on AI-based solutions to address immediate challenges by the pandemic across different sectors.

Please join us for this webinar session on the potential for EU-India collaboration on Artificial Intelligence on Tuesday, May 19th 2020, 2:00 – 3:15 P.M. IST (10:30 A.M. – 11:45 A.M. CET). The keynote speech on the relevance of EU India collaboration on open innovation to untap business opportunities in AI in times of COVID-19 will be delivered by Mr. Benoit Sauveroche, First Counsellor at the Delegation of the EU to India.

This will be followed by a Leadership Panel discussion, moderated by Mr, Sachin Gaur, Local Coordinator, India-EU ICT Cooperation project, and with panellists Dr. Mohit Gambhir, Innovation Director, MHRD Innovation Cell, Mr. Rahul Lodhe, Senior Director of Engineering, SAP India and Mr. Manu Saale, Managing Director & CEO at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, who will share their thoughts on EU-India collaboration in AI.
