Strengthening Civil Society voice and State Responsiveness and Accountability to Protect Older Women and Men from all forms of violence

HelpAge Tanzania implemented a project funded by EU to contribute to the reduction all forms of discrimination, violence and abuse towards women of all ages. More than 3,500 older people gained access to improved protection services, timely access to justice, increased accountability and legal and psychosocial support.

 

The project sought to contribute to the reduction of all forms of discrimination, violence and abuse including harmful traditional practices towards women of all ages taking place across the country especially in Mwanza, Shinyanga, Geita and Tabora regions.
