The EU in Zimbabwe is driving digital inclusion! Together with national and regional partners, we launched the Africa Broadband Maps project — strengthening broadband systems, guiding smarter digital investments, and fostering closer Africa-Europe collaboration.

The EU has launched the second phase of a €10 million regional agriculture project in Zimbabwe, together with FAO, SADC, and the Government of Zimbabwe. Building on earlier successes, STOSAR II will strengthen agricultural data systems, boost plant and animal health, and empower farmers—especially women and youth—to thrive in inclusive value chains.

On this International Day of Sign Languages, the EU celebrates Zimbabwe’s Deaf community and reflects on its ongoing efforts to promote inclusion — from theatre and drama initiatives to the first-ever live sign language interpretation of the NAMA Awards and greater accessibility at ZITF.

The Delegation of the European Union to Zimbabwe warmly welcomed our new Ambassador-Designate, Katrin Hagemann, who has now arrived in Harare. She met with the Delegation team and shared her enthusiasm for working together in the months ahead, highlighting her commitment to strengthening EU–Zimbabwe relations.
