In the framework of the 11th EDF development cooperation strategy agreed to between Zimbabwe and the EU, known as the National Indicative Plan, the European Union is seeking proposals for the upgrading and upscaling of livestock-based value chains with a proven potential in terms of economic performance and inclusiveness.

In the framework of the 11th EDF development cooperation strategy agreed to between Zimbabwe and the EU, known as the National Indicative Plan, the European Union is seeking proposals for the upgrading and upscaling of livestock-based value chains with a proven potential in terms of economic performance and inclusiveness. The call for proposals will prioritise support for a total of EUR 25.5 million to projects that improve the economic, social and environmental performance of value chains and also their direct enabling environment including business and financial services and the provision of animal feed at reduced costs.

The deadline for submission of proposals is Wednesday, 14 March 2018 at 13:00 hours (local time). A first information session on this call for proposals was held on 30 November 2017. An additional session will be held on 30 January 2018 at 14:30 hours at the EU Delegation (with prior registration only as per guidelines).
