Cecile Kashetu Kyenge, an Italian member of the European Parliament was appointed to lead the EU Election Observation Mission to Zambia. Ms Kyenge was appointed as Chief Observer of the mission by Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
