EU Ambassador to Yemen Patrick Simonnet, Netherlands Ambassador to Yemen Jeannette Seppen and accompanying delegation concluded a visit to Marib today. The visit underscored continued EU engagement in Yemen at the political, humanitarian and development levels, and reaffirmed support for the country’s stability, resilience and recovery.

The EU Delegation to Yemen celebrated Europe Day in Aden in the presence of Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Shaya al-Zindani, senior government officials and partners. Held inside Yemen for the first time since the start of the conflict, the event underscored the EU’s continued support for the Government of Yemen and the Yemeni people.
