ADA is a charitable association formed by spouses and couples of diplomats living in Uruguay and select special guests from Uruguayan civil society.
Since its creation in 1964, ADA has taken on the commitment to uphold its charitable principles and accomplish its mission of helping those who most need it, especially those in a situation of social vulnerability, regardless of age, sex, religion or political affiliation.
Over time, its support for other institutions in need has been established, and 50 years later it has become a strong association that has grown through the help of its members and sponsors.
ADA holds monthly meetings and organises fundraisers, aiming to help the most vulnerable people in Uruguayan society.
Among the beneficiary organizations that it supports are the Cottolengo Feminino y Masculino, the Charitable Home of the Sisters of Mother Teresa of Calcutta and several NGOs that support children in need.
